Congratulations to Clients Accepted to Brown PLME – Our Acceptance Results 2023

I am very pleased and happy to announce our final results for Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME): 9 of our clients were accepted to Brown PLME.

According to Brown University’s press release on March 31st, “..74 students were admitted to the Program in Liberal Medical Education an eight-year program leading to both a bachelor’s degree and an M.D. from Brown’s Warren Alpert Medical School.”

What does this mean?

This year, 12% of the Brown PLME class are our clients!

Texas Tech Undergraduate to Medical School Initiative (UMSI) Acceptance – 2023

CONGRATULATIONS to our client who was accepted to Texas Tech’s UMSI program. You are among the 8 students who were accepted to this highly competitive BS/MD program!

The Undergraduate to Medical School Initiative (UMSI) is a combined BS/MD program: Honors College of Texas Tech University and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine offer designed for academically talented and highly motivated students interested in pursuing a M.D. degree. A select group of Honors College students entering first year are guaranteed admission to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine after completion of a bachelor’s degree at Texas Tech University.

Out of over 300 applicants, between 30-50 are interviewed and then finally 8 are ACCEPTED. That’s a 2.6% acceptance rate! Our client can technically be called “DOCTOR” as a high school senior! Wow!

Rochester Early Medical Scholars Acceptance – 2023

Congratulations to our client who was accepted to The University of Rochester: Rochester Early Medical Scholars program! You are now among the 0.8% accepted to this EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE program.

The University of Rochester: Rochester Early Medical Scholars program is an eight-year bachelor’s of arts or bachelor’s of science and MD program from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Students enrolled in the program enter the University of Rochester with an assurance of admission to the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry when they successfully complete their undergraduate degree programs, including GPA and premed requirements. Students admitted to the program are not required to provide MCAT scores.

As a REM scholar, you are conditionally guaranteed admission to the MD program at the School of Medicine and Dentistry. This means that our client can technically be called “Doctor” as a high school senior! Wow!

REM is highly competitive and therefore has an acceptance rate of 0.8% for 10 spots with over 1,000 applicants annually!

Proactive Parents Are Calling Us as More Public High Schools Cancel Honors Courses

Over the past several months, we have had an increase in the number of calls and emails from parents whose children attend high schools that stripping away the honors designation from courses or removing the courses all together.

Parents have stated to us that some schools have either changed courses to college prep or simply eliminated the honors courses all together.

In our experience, taking honors courses can increase class ranks or grade point averages and/or give students an advantage when applying for college.

Getting into an Ivy League and or BS/MD programs has never seemed more impossible, with acceptance rates at some colleges now in the single digits. Thousands of qualified students are rejected after years of hard work. Medicine is the Highest Paying Job

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the jobs with the highest pay in the United States are all in medicine. That’s right! Being medical doctor is the highest paying profession. In fact, you’ll see quite a few physician specialists among the top 20 highest-paying occupations identified by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the jobs (medical doctor) that receive median incomes equal to or greater than $208,000 per year on average. Additionally, these medical specialties have the highest job security!
